Go Karting
Engines are heated up, temperatures are rising and the arena is set for a dazzling display of high-voltage racing. SPREE 2010 presents ‘Go-Karting’ – a fun kart-racing event. Gear up now to feel the adrenaline rush through your veins as you race your way to glory.
Venue: Goa-Karting Track, Nuvem
Day: Saturday, 6th March
Kart Specifications: 6.5bhp
Karts will be provided by the track.
Format of event:
Round 1 – Qualifying round with the top 24 participants moving on to the next round. Will be held on 6th morning.
Round 2 – 4 sets of races with 6 participants per race. Top 3 from each (in all 12) will move to the semi-finals.
Round 3 – Semi-final round. 2 sets of races with 6 people per race. Top 3 from each (in all 6) will move to the finals.
Round 4 – Final round. Final set of races to decide the winner and runner-up.
IMPORTANT :
- Please note that this is intended to be a fun event. Winners will be rewarded with a trophy and gift vouchers. There is NO cash prize
- The decision of the track officials regarding safety, rules, regulations and the results will be FINAL. There will be NO pleas/protests entertained regarding all of the above.
- Each participant has to attend a mandatory practice session before the day of the event. The expenses of this will have to be borne by the participant. This is a pre-requisite given out by the Track owners and we have no say in it. Even if you have paid the registration fee, but have not attended the practice session, you will NOT be allowed to participate on the final day.
