Badminton Mixed Doubles

Have racket, will smash? Here's a chance for you to show you're the best guy-girl combo at Spree '10. This is pure mixed doubles badminton, no strings attached. Take part and vie for the honour of being the king and queen of the court.

Rules

  • This is a fun event. Special rules will be followed.
  • The match will be best of 3 games.  All games will be for 21 points.
  • The game will be played in a Table Tennis style i.e. a player and his partner will play the alternate shots.
  • No smashes allowed except in the tie-breaker  
  • In case of a 1-1 tie, the 3rd game will be played as follows :
  • Singles game of 21 points  with the female partner  playing till  the highest score reaches 11 points
  •  Second player will continue the play to finish the game.
  • The  games will follow the new scoring rules and all other general badminton rules apply.
